I joined the phenomenon that is facebook a number of months ago. I love it. I have caught up with old friends from elementary and high school. I have found long lost friends from other times in life. I have kept in touch better with my many cousins. I have been able to share my life (like my family and kids) with those who care about me (and with those that would probably say they do). It has reunited me with people I will probably never see again (and many that I never really want to). I have even come across old girl friends (no worries Kendra I only have eyes and one bank account for you). But then again, it's kind of scary. It's like some weird social web that is connecting us all (like the Force in Star Wars) or like some global monster seeking to brainwash us all into some future (or not so future) one world government mentality. Maybe it is harmless, or maybe it could potentially be quite dangerous. Food for thought.
