moving

We moved from Michigan to Iowa this past week. It literally felt like a week. We actually only traveled one day, but if you have ever moved, you know it involves much more than just traveling. We spent a lot of time packing and finishing up little projects at our home in Michigan, then (with the help of a few people) we loaded the truck, then we did the actual moving / traveling, then (with the help of many more people) we unloaded the truck and then (with the help of Kendra's parents and brother) we unpacked many items for our new home in Boone (which will actually only be our residence for about three months, until we move into the parsonage). What an exhausting ordeal! But we are here. It is a new place with many new faces and many new opportunities. It will take a while to adjust but soon we will acclamate and Boone will feel like home. Now we can relax...sort of.
